Mateo's Restaurant Cafe offers homemade with love Spanish-inspired Filipino cuisine that is really close to taste and hearts of every Filipino as part of our history and culture. It was newly  opened last just June which is located in Diliman, Quezon City.

Mateo's is a nice place to chill, hangout and catch up with friends and family. It is also a perfect place to date. It's main dining area can accommodate up to 20 persons. Other than that, you can also have your meetings, bridal shower, christening and other events because Mateo's has their other function rooms that can do catering and can accommodate 30-50 persons.

As we're told by the owners specifically Miss Lala and Sir Miko, the restaurant was named after Lolo Mateo Del Castillo which happened to be Sir Miko's great-grandfather (if not mistaken) and also where their original recipes came from which was passed down from generation to generation. According to Sir Miko, Lolo Mateo used to put up restaurants and boarding houses in Batangas before but then sold all of his investments to fund the HUKBALAHAP (Hukbo Laban Sa Hapon). Ohhh history! <3
