Aracama Restaurant and Lounge

Monday, November 16, 2015

Aracama Restaurant and Lounge is a Filipino cuisine restaurant situated in The Fort Strip which is known to be a restaurant in the morning and club at night. The interior is very classy especially the second floor where the bar is and the events are held. As we we’re informed by one of the chefs, the food that was served to us were new and being reviewed by the restaurant and we’re glad to help out for the further development of those dishes.
Sisig Fries – the all-time favorite fries plus sisig? Who wouldn’t love it? It is surprisingly a good match. It is like beef and nachos.

Chop Chop Salad – one of my favorites, salads. This salad is one of a kind for its playful color and the fried wanton that added a texture to it. The dressing is somewhat sweet and spicy which is really good.
Sinigang the Baka – at first, we thought it was bulalo especially when we tasted it because it didn’t taste like sinigang. The signature sour kick of sinigang was lacking. However, it tasted very good if it’s bulalo or nilaga and the beef was very tender – it was perfect.
Crispy Fried Chicken – the fried chicken was okay. It’s like max’s chicken to be honest with their special sauce.
Hipon and Bechuelas – this spicy this dish is yummy.
Spicy Mushrooms – this dish is the same with the Hipon and Bechulas. This is too spicy for me and a bit sour because of the shitake mushroom. It would have been better if they used button mushrooms.
Crispy Pata – it was crispy but nothing special in it. Nice presentation though.
Kalkag – is basically a fried rice with baby shrimps but then it’s a bit oily.
My favorite part as always was the time for dessert! They served us two desserts which I really, really enjoy. Desserts are too good to rate. I’m sorry. LOL

Chocnut Ice Cream – who wouldn’t love Chocnut (Hany)? And make it into an ice cream. Can I just eat it all? Lol
Dulce & Bunueos – it’s actually like churros. But what made it special was the yema or cooked/baked condensed milk where the pastry puffs will be dipped. HEAVEN! The presentation is very pretty and unique.
I will surely comeback here and just try out their order other dishes. But I will definitely order the sisig fries, dulce & bunuos and chocnut ice cream again! The service was also good even though their WiFi was not working properly, it's a good sign to focus on the food rather than being online. LOL XD

  1. Sisig fries are a really awesome pairing for me as well, Oh, and too bad about the Nilaga that's pretending to be Sinigang hahahaha! Seriously though, maybe they just mixed up your dish? did you ask the waiter about that? :)

  8. We have always wanted to visit Aracama but it is quite far since we are from Fairview. Now, we moved to Bacolod and I guess no more chance to try it. I am so dying to have Crispy Pata right now. - Clarice, mymetrolifestyle.blogspot.com
