Little England in Quezon City - The Royal Piccadilly

A Glimpse

of England

Along the busy avenue of Katipunan lies this little England of Quezon City. The Royal Piccadilly Restaurant and Cakery, a go-to place to eat, dine and chill with your mates. At first you would think that in the first glance, this cafe is just one of the mushroom cozy cafes. Yet you would be surprised that if you look into their menu-s(they have about 3 I separate 'menus' as far as I remember). They are not only serving pastries, lovely cakes, afternoon teas, and coffees but also full course meals and wide selection of alcoholic beverages. It is really overwhelming when you're about to choose what you'll eat.

The restaurant was inspired by the owners (Ms. Cielo and her sister) escapade to the Great Britain which will give the feel that you're not in the Philippines. The furnitures, decorations, lighting... everything is so pretty, a very good place for selfies. Heheheh. TRP is a 40-seater resto(including the balcony area) which also have a private room that serves as a function room and a cake studio when not in use. They offer to hold special meetings, workshops, and private gatherings for an affordable price.

TRP also serves fruit shakes and their original version of Butter Beer (from the Three Broomsticks in the Harry Potter series). The sisters who own the restaurant visited London prior to putting up the shop, a trip which eventually inspired them to start the business. Their concoction of Butter Beer is based on what they've tasted in Europe, making it a huge hit when they launched it last Halloween (2013). It is now part of their regular menu and deserves a mention.

Enjoy a beautiful meal in this cozy British inspired restaurant where everything tastes awesome. From their humble beginnings as a cake studio, The Royal Piccadilly has expanded their operations to a full meal restaurant that serves your English pub favourites from their very own, home-made sausages for bangers and mash, to their saucy and scrumptious meat pies that are cooked and baked, of course, by the talented chefs and bakers at The Royal Piccadilly. At The Royal Piccadilly Restaurant and Cakery, they make sure that they know what's in your food, and that's what makes their food and baked goods so magically wonderful!

From a cake studio to a full course meal restaurant, TRP will surely take you England up to their famous English pub favourites which all are original house-made from their amazing and awesomely taste mashed potato (I super love their mashed potato) to their own take to the famous Harry Potter's butter beer, yes! You're reading it right... BUTTER BEER(from the Three Broomsticks in the Harry Potter series) which Ms. Cielo is really proud of because of all, it has the closest taste on what they've in England.

Yeoja Verdict: Although it's a bit hard to go here especially if you're coming from the south, the 'The Royal Piccadilly Restaurant and Cakery' is another hidden gem of Quezon City that you will surely love. Friendly staffs, scrumptious food, visually appealing  and comfy place and pocket-friendly. Actually, each meal is good for sharing already like their Fish and Chips. You will never regret to visit and dine here (or have a date' with someone special, I think the place is romantic. hihiih <3).
